There are other scriptures,
where Jesus speaks of little faith but what does little faith and faith as small as a mustard seed have in common?
The words were spoken by Jesus and they are speaking of faith. According to scripture as found in Hebrews 11:1, faith
is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (NIV)
Mustard
Seed Faith and a little faith begins with our faith in God and In Jesus our Saviour. If we don't believe in God and In
Jesus Christ whom He has sent, we cannot begin to understand mustard seed faith and a little faith.
John17:3 Now this is life eternal:that they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
I have held a mustard seed in the palm of my hand and as I looked at that seed and thought on the words
that Jesus spoke in John 17-6 "if you have faith as small as a mustard seed", joy filled my soul.
A tiny mustard seed can be used to grow a mustard plant that produces millions of mustard seeds.
